      Studies repeatedly link electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) with hippocampal plasticity. However, whether hippocampal plasticity plays a role in ECT-related antidepressant remains unclear. This magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) study targeted functional and structural changes in hippocampal networks to determine relationships, if any, with ECT therapeutic outcomes.
