28. The Neuroscience Big Data Landscape and FAIR

      The Neuroscience Information Framework (NIF) launched in 2008 to survey resources and databases for neuroscience (NIF Registry) and provide an information framework for promoting discovery and integration across databases (NIF data federation). Here we use NIF data to provide insight into the neuroscience data landscape, and how it measures up to the FAIR Data Principles, gaining broad adoption across biomedicine. FAIR aims to make data: Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable for humans and computers.
