117. Curcumin Enhances the Extinction of a Pavlovian Fear Memory

      Recent evidence from our lab has indicated that a diet enriched with the naturally-occurring polyphenol compound curcumin can impair the consolidation and reconsolidation of memories associated with Pavlovian fear conditioning, a widely studied animal model of traumatic memory formation in PTSD. In the present study, we explored the effect of curcumin on the extinction of a previously established Pavlovian fear memory.
